Environmental Class learns the importance of trees to the environment

Congratulations to our school website and school web curator Mr. Matthew Macdonald. The Lewis HS website was one of ten recognized schools at this year's FCPS Web Curator's Conference with its "Best Use of Feature" tool to spotlight student successes and other happenings within the school.

Several of our teachers were recognized for their commitment to teaching students about teen dating violence during Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month(TDVAM).

Congratulations to Oscar Manuel Lopez Hernandez on being one of 22 FCPS students to receive the 2019 Student Peace Award. This award recognizes and honors young people who actively work as Peacemakers.

Junior Macha´ela C. recently read her book she wrote for her personal project showcase to a group of elementary school students during the “Tiger Tales Story Night” at Bailey´s Elementary School for the Arts and Sciences in Falls Church.
