The John Lewis Leadership Program provides real-world leadership development to all Lewis High School students through field trips, guest speakers, service projects, specialized coursework, internships, and university partnerships. Students access these experiences through their classes and as optional enrichment opportunities. These unique student leadership opportunities are supported by more than 70 organization and university partners, including the family of Congressman Lewis.

Student Transfer Opportunity: Beginning in February 2025, the Lewis Leadership Program will accept up to thirty rising ninth grade students applying from FCPS schools outside of Lewis High School’s boundaries.
