Course Selection Timeline

Academic advising serves as a guide for students in making informed educational decisions and becoming self-directed learners. Teachers assist students with course planning by reviewing current courses and discussing the next course and/or level of studies in their content area. Counselors help students explore educational options and course offerings that will lead them on the path to graduation and beyond. We ask that parents/guardians partner with their child in researching and finalizing the course decisions that best meet the student’s needs and interests.  Students will soon receive course selection materials, and it is crucial for you to review them with your child. Course offerings and school staffing are influenced by student choices, and all selections will be reviewed by the school counselor for appropriate placement.
