Unified Special Olympics Basketball Team Participates in 2019 Tournament!

The Lee Lancer Unified Special Olympics Team takes on Annandale HS at the 2019 Unified Special Olympics Basketball Tournament held at Poe Middle School on January 20.

The Lee Lancer Unified Special Olympics Basketball Team participated in the annual Unified Special Olympics Basketball Tournament on January 20. The event was held at Poe Middle School and featured teams throughout the region.

In the first game, the team took on Lake Braddock Secondary School. The Lancers were led by team captain Nayellis Flores-Oliva. The Lancers showed extraordinary teamwork and sportsmanship, defeating the Bruins 34-22.

In game two, the Lancers played their hearts out in a neck and neck game against Annandale. The Atoms outlasted the Lancers and took the win in the last second of the game 32-30.

Thanks to all who participated in this year's Unified Special Olympics Tournament and for all of the Lee HS fans who came out to support the team!
