Environmental Field Work Trip 2018
Students in IB Environmental went on their field trip to Hidden Oaks nature center to collaborate with local environmental scientists on their individual field work experiments. Early October the local environmental scientists visited our classroom to help students refine their experimental questions and plans prior to this October trip. Students will be using their field work from this trip to write an Internal Assessments (IA) with background research, data tables, conclusions and next steps for future experimentation and service projects. The local scientists will be invited back in May/June to see the same students present their results and service projects.
