This year, they received photos of 12 orphaned children in Bangladesh who are living in deep poverty.  The art students study the photos to create artistic portraits as gifts for the orphaned children.  They use a range of pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolor, and digital art to create the portraits. The heartfelt portraits are then delivered to the children by the Memory Project staff, communicating a unique message of caring from the students, that serve as a meaningful piece of personal history for the children in the future.
