Nicholas Machado, a freshman at Lewis High School who is on the It’s Academic team, developed a Fairfax County school theme crossword puzzle which was published in the Fairfax County Times. See if you can solve his puzzle or, better, challenge your friends to see who can solve it the quickest!

Nicholas did this as part of an activity with It's Academic, a school organization sponsored by Ms. Evans, and Mr. O’Brien. Meetings are held on Tuesdays after school. It's Academic is Lewis Academic Quiz Bowl Team.  Members compete in trivia competitions, representing Lee on the long-running It's Academic television show and participating in VHSL Quiz Bowl tournaments.
