It’s Academic is an academic quiz-bowl tournament that has aired on NBC in our region for over 50 years.  This January, Lewis Juniors Kylie Callender, Edward Martin Carino and Nicholas Machado participated in this long tradition.  Cheered on by teammates Nazmee Kamal and Dat Nguyen, Kylie, Edward and Nicholas defeated opponents from The Potomac School and Georgetown Day School by demonstrating their superior knowledge in art, literature, math, science, history and pop culture.

It will air this Saturday at 10am on NBC4.
