Teachers For Tomorrow Achieves Success!

The Teachers for Tomorrow program began at Lewis High School in 2020. The two-year program is intended for juniors and seniors who wish to pursue a career in the teaching profession. This year, 7 seniors successfully completed the two-year program and received an FCPS Recruitment Contract, which guarantees each cadet an Instructor position with FCPS upon college graduation with an education degree. Lewis High School had the highest number of seniors receive the recruitment contract this year. Mrs. Dana Dye, the Teachers for Tomorrow Cadet Instructor, has worked hard to grow the program and hopes that more juniors and seniors will take the course to explore the teaching profession.
