Principal Smith's Weekly Newsletter
From the Principal's Desk
Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone!
On this weekend, we honor and mourn all military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. We salute all who have fought for and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our precious freedoms. Please remember that tomorrow is a holiday for both students and staff. There will not be any classes tomorrow.
Our weather forecasts suggest that we should be on track with our graduation plans this Tuesday! Students in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade will not come to campus for their instruction on Tuesday. Staff will be completing final preparations for graduation. This will be an asynchronous day of instruction in which students will work independently on assignments. If our weather allows us to go forward with graduation as planned on Tuesday, we will continue with concurrent instruction on Wednesday.
Again, we salute our Class of 2021 Graduates. Only guests with tickets (from the graduates) will be permitted into the ceremony. With the traffic that we are expecting, I would strongly encourage those who are not attending graduation to avoid traveling near our campus on Tuesday evening.
I would like to personally enjoy the graduation with us via livestream. You can join us from your favorite location at the link below:
